Mary Scott is the owner of Make*Believe TV and is currently an award-winning director and producer of documentary, music, and commercial videos. She has been a Blue-Ribbon Panel Judge for both the OSCAR and EMMY Awards. Her documentary Chief Wilma P. Mankiller: Woman of Power aired on PBS / WNET-13 in New York City and was nominated for an Emmy Award. She writes and produces commercials, music video, and computer animations. Under her direction, Make*Believe TV (formerly Otitis Media Productions) has completed instructional videos for such Long Island companies as Tiffen Manufacturing, Seaman's Furniture & Heart to Home Health Services, and promotional videos for the Village of Port Jefferson, Harbor Child Care, and the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research. Commercial clients include Riverhead Toyota, Energy West, the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women, A Touch of Class Plantscaping, and ICON Science Fiction, Inc. She produced 26 episodes of Infinite Possibilities, a TV magazine of science, science fiction & fantasy. She has also produced many PSA's and experimental video art, winning awards in the process. She edits and creates graphics for industrial and broadcast video pieces. She has a masters degree in Health Services Administration, served as a member of the Port Jefferson Board of Education, and is currently a producer with "Hills On Stage" for her local school district.  She has written articles, a book on childbirth and parenting, and served as the New York Co-ordinator for the International Childbirth Education Association. She is an active member in several Women's Business organizations including DECISION, and NAWBO, and serves as a director of the Suffolk Women's Business Enterprise Coalition. She has also lectured at schools, universities and film festivals on women's health and political issues and filmmaking. Marc Scott has worked in New York City for over 20 years as a technical director, cameraman, and engineer for a major TV station and as a free lancer. He has been a Blue-Ribbon Panel Judge for the EMMY Awards. He is a winner of the Radio Television News Directors Association Edward R. Murrow Award for Outstanding Spot News. He has also shot many pieces which were Emmy award nominees and winners. He received his own Emmy award for camera work in 2000, and was nominated again in 2002. In 1997 he shot a project which was a FOLIO award winner. His subjects have ranged from such dignitaries as President George Bush, Pope John Paul II, and Princess Diana to Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fischer. He has filmed thousands of stories for TV which have aired in over 100 different markets. He was the director of photography for the documentary "Mama's Pushcart" which has won international awards. He has also taught electronic graphics and camera. His former students are working at all of the major television networks in the United States. As an accomplished musician, Marc also creates exciting, original, and appropriate background music for many Make*Believe TV's clients.
